[color=rgb(102,102,102)]Netherhope Halt is a short wooden platform on the Wye Valley Railway, which ran from Wye Valley Junction on the main line from Severn Tunnel Jct to Gloucester north of Chepstow via Tintern to Monmouth, closely following the valley of the River Wye for most of its length.

[size=4][font=arial]Closure came in January 1959 and most of the line was demolished soon afterwards, and little trace now remains. The track from Wye Valley Junction to Tintern Quarry remained in use for permanent way ballast traffic and was in use until 1981, when operations were cut back to a loading platform on the site of the former Tidenham station, serving Dayhouse Quarry. This itself closed a few years later. Trains to both quarries were generally made up of a Class 37 and
